COMMUNITY ENERGY: The Community Energy Program
(CEP) helps communities develop the necessary tools to engage in local energy
infrastructure planning.
WEATHERIZATION ASSISTANCE: The Weatherization
Assistance Program enables income-eligible families to reduce their energy bills
by making their homes more energy efficient.
RESIDENTIAL BUILDING SCIENCE: The Residential Building
Science Program works with the building trades to adopt an integrated approach
to assessing, correcting and building residentials structures that are
energy-efficiency.
ARIZONA HOME PERFORMANCE WITH ENERGY STAR: A
training and certification program for professional contractors, weatherization
auditors and technicians located in the Southwest.
ENERGY SAVINGS PERFORMANCE CONTRACTING (ESPC):
Technical and program assistance to facilitate energy efficiency improvements
through Energy Savings Performance Contracting is provided.
RENEWABLE ENERGY: The Renewable Energy Program
provides technical assistance and information ranging from off-grid photovoltaic
systems to commercial-scale renewable energy technologies.
TRIBAL ENERGY: The Tribal Energy Program provides
technical assistance and information to tribes regarding energy efficiency and
renewable energy technologies.
STATE ENERGY PROGRAM (SEP) SPECIAL PROJECTS
The U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) State Energy Program (SEP) provides grants
through the Energy Office to industry, small business, higher education
institutions, non-profit organizations, Native American organizations, DOE
national laboratories, and State Energy Offices. The grants are for programs
and projects that increase energy efficiency or utilize renewable energy.
