The Energy Office provides technical assistance to all state agencies, departments, divisions, local governments, school districts and public institutions for energy conservation projects and renewable energy resource opportunities, and help those entities secure funding where available for energy conservation and renewable energy projects.


State Energy Program - By providing technical assistance, this program encourages state agencies, departments, divisions, school districts and public institutions to implement energy-saving strategies and projects. 

Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block Grant Program - By providing technical assistance, this program encourages local governments to implement energy-saving strategies and projects using federal stimulus funding.

Community Energy Planning Program - By providing technical assistance, this program encourages unincorporated communities to implement energy-saving strategies and projects.

Energy Savings Performance Contracting (ESPC) - Technical and program assistance to facilitate energy efficiency improvements through Energy Savings Performance Contracting is provided.

Tribal Energy Program - Technical assistance for tribal communities, ranging from off-grid photovoltaic systems to commercial-scaled renewable energy technologies. Also, energy-related information.
